CARE ABROAD, WITHOUT THE GUESSWORK

A thoughtful guide for every step around the appointment.

The hardest parts are often not the screening itself. They are knowing where to go, how to prepare, what costs are separate, when reports will arrive and what to do after coming home. We are designing one clear point of coordination around the whole administrative journey.

Arrive prepared

BACK AT HOME

Keep moving forward

English-report tracking, organized records and next-step support.

WHY NAVIGATION MATTERS

Korea’s medical system can be highly advanced—and difficult to navigate from abroad.

The journey can involve language misunderstandings, uncertain preparation, separate costs, missing reports and unclear follow-up. We are designing one organized administrative pathway around those details.

HOW IT WILL WORK

One coordinated pathway. Five clear stages.

01

Tell us your goals

Complete a short, nonmedical qualification assessment.

02

Enroll securely

Qualified customers will later receive an agreement, concierge-payment instructions and a separate secure medical-intake link.

03

Receive a coordinated pathway

We coordinate administration while the hospital confirms clinical suitability.

04

Complete screening in Korea

The hospital’s licensed clinicians perform medical services and review results.

05

Receive organized records and follow-up

We track hospital-issued English records and support secure transfer and administrative follow-up.

RESPONSIBLE SCREENING

More testing is not automatically better.

Important

Comprehensive screening does not rule out every disease and may identify incidental or indeterminate findings requiring additional evaluation. Final testing decisions belong to the hospital’s licensed clinicians.

Korea Health Connect co-founders Hannah Cho and Chan Young Kim together

WHY WE STARTED

A shared belief became a bridge.

Hannah Cho & Chan Young Kim

Before Korea Health Connect had a name, Hannah and Chan Young were already helping people answer a deeply personal question: How can I access preventive healthcare in Korea that I can trust?

For Hannah, the answer brought together every part of her journey. She had spent years caring for patients as an optometrist and registered nurse, then studied business at Stanford to understand how better healthcare experiences could be built. But it was becoming a patient herself—and navigating comprehensive health screening in Korea—that made the opportunity unmistakable. She saw exceptional capability, along with the uncertainty an international patient can feel when language, preparation, records and follow-up are unfamiliar.

Chan Young brought the perspective that completed the picture. Raised in Korea and experienced with both the Korean and American healthcare systems, she understood the gap between them—and how difficult it could be for someone outside Korea to know where to begin, whom to trust and how to move through the system with confidence.

As more friends and colleagues asked them for guidance and hospital referrals, Hannah and Chan Young realized they were not alone in wanting a better path. They created Korea Health Connect to make the best of Korea’s preventive healthcare more understandable and accessible—so international patients can begin their preventive journey feeling informed, prepared and genuinely supported.

Korea Health Connect provides nonclinical concierge and coordination support. Medical advice, diagnosis and treatment are provided by participating hospitals and licensed clinicians.
